Fox Creek Naturals Juniperus Virginiana Essential Oil
Nothing is added and nothing is subtracted from this steam distilled oil. It comes straight from a distillery in North East Texas on the western edge of the Eastern Red Cedar belt of the USA.
Scent & Color
In Air: When this oil is exposed to air, it emanates the spicy light fragrance uniquely evocative of nature that everyone loves about cedar oil.
From Container: Straight from the container, you’ll experience a direct smell of the wood alcohols found in juniperus virginiana. It’s a darker more intense aroma than air exposed cedar oil.
From Diffuser: Using this oil in a diffuser produces a sweeter aroma containing both the spicy tones from air exposed oil and the dark tones found directly from the container.
Color: You’ll see a clean oil with a pleasing light golden brown color. In very large quantities, oil will appear a beautiful wine red.
Preparation & Quality
Family Made: You can be sure this oil is extracted with a personal level of pride and care not found in larger operations. We consist of three owners and we do 100% of the work from stacking cedar logs to packaging oil for shipment. There is zero bureaucracy and no disinterested people in the process.
American Made: With Eastern Red cedar being an American tree, it only makes sense for it to be American made.
Freshly Ground Cedarwood: Because we grind our cedarwood just prior to oil extraction, you’ll get the fullest range of aromas from this oil. Nothing is lost due to overly exposed wood.
Storage: You’ll have a long lasting oil unspoiled by oxidation or other reactions. After oil is extracted, it’s placed in barrels and oxygen is removed by using an inert gas that doesn’t react with the oil or the barrel.
