Nothing is added and nothing is subtracted from this steam distilled oil. It comes straight from a distillery in Northeast Texas located on the western edge of the USA's eastern red cedar region.
Scent & Color
In Air: When this oil is exposed to air, it emanates the spicy light fragrance uniquely evocative of nature that everyone loves about cedar oil.
From Container: Straight from the container, you’ll experience a direct smell of the wood alcohols found in the Juniperus Virginiana tree. It’s a darker more intense aroma than air exposed cedar oil.
From Diffuser: Using this oil in a diffuser produces a sweeter aroma containing both the spicy tones from air-exposed oil and the dark tones found directly from the container.
Color: You’ll see a clean oil with a pleasing light golden brown color. In very large quantities, oil will appear a beautiful wine red.
Preparation & Quality

Storage: You’ll have a long lasting oil unspoiled by oxidation or other reactions. Oil is gathered in stainless steel containers before being canned or bottled.
